I work with motivated senior leaders and managers to improve their effectiveness. As an executive coach, I serve as a "thought partner" with my clients to clarify their priorities, better leverage their strengths, keep their developmental areas from becoming barriers to their success, work through specific business challenges, and take action. I also specialize in working with women in dual career families.

For over sixteen years, I have been advising and coaching clients in midsize to Fortune 500 companies.  My credentials combine a solid technical knowledge of HR and coaching with a strong business background to deliver creative, business-driven solutions to my clients.  I have worked with my clients to develop business strategies to better compete in the marketplace, conduct financial feasibility analyses for new products or services, improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, automate processes, implement new technology, and transition through major changes.  I have also helped my clients create strategies and implement processes and programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent; build coaching capabilities at all levels of the organization; and evaluate and manage performance.

I worked at Deloitte for fourteen years, ten as a management consultant and four as an HR executive.  I was involved in Deloitte's Women's Initiative since its inception in 1993 and led the development and implementation of several talent development and retention programs.

My experience spans several industries including healthcare, telecommunications, oil and gas, utilities, professional services, consumer business, financial services, higher education, and the public sector. 

My educational background includes a BBA in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington, an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas, a Professional in Human Resources Certification, and over 100 hours of training from the College of Executive Coaching. I am also certified to administer the MBTI®, CPI 260™, Leadership Practices Inventory, and FIRO-B® assessment tools. I will complete my ICF coaching certification program in March 2009.  

I am a member of the International Coach Federation, Houston Coaches, the HR Planning Society, and the Society for Human Resource Management. I also serve on the board of the Collaborative for Children (a nonprofit focused on early childhood education) and the Houston Chapter of the McCombs MBA Alumni Network and am a United Way Young Leader.
